How to Determine the Version Number of the Running Windows XP of Your PC
There are different versions of Windows XP. Sometimes we need to know the version number of the Windows XP that we are running in our PC. If you follow the following simple two steps then you will be able to find out the version number of Windows XP and also the Service Pack number:


 Step 1:                                                                                                                                                  



1st click Start and then click Run.

 Step 2:                                                                                                                                                 

In the run window, type winver.exe and then click OK.

It will prompt a window which displays the version number as well as Service Pack number of your Windows XP as shown in the above image.
