BSNL 2G, 3G SIM may show DF A8’H, Default Error repeatedly and also show the option for Cancel or Ok. Whenever this error comes, you can’t make or receive a call or perform any other activity on your mobile.

So, how do you overcome this problem? First, you can try  a few steps :

Restart your mobile and check for a few minutes and if it exists then follow step 2.

If your mobile is having dual SIM slots then the power of your mobile. Then reinsert SIM card in the other SIM slot where another operator’s SIM works fine and power it on and check again and if it persists then follow step 3.

 Step 3 :                                                                                                                         



Insert the SIM card in another working mobile and check the error. If it exists then you can confirm that this is not because of your mobile or SIM slot issue.


Now, you can be sure that this error comes because of hardware related issues of your BSNL SIM or your BSNL SIM card chip has gone faulty.
